Jerome Davis


(B.S.B.A., M.A., Ph.D., The Ohio State University) is currently an Assistant Director of Event Management in the Department of Athletics and the Director of the Ohio State LiFEsportsCamp and the Executive Director of Service & Outreach. He is dedicated to providing a great experience to people of all ages through sport. He enjoys helping students excel at developing into great people, and to become effective members of society. He accomplishes this through his work in athletics, the LiFEsportsCamp, and in the classroom.

 


Dawn Anderson-Butcher


(PhD, MSW, University of Utah. MS, BA, BS, Miami University) is a professor at the OSU College of Social Work. Dawn currently serves as the Executive Director for Teaching/Learning and Research for the LiFEsportsInitiative. Her research interests include positive youth development, school-family-community partnerships, children’s mental health, school social work, and interprofessional collaboration. Dawn joined the LiFEsportsteam in 2008. More about Dawn Anderson-Butcher can be found here.


Rebecca Wade-Mdivanian

(B.S.W., Capital University, MSW., The Ohio State University) is currently the Director of Operations for the LiFEsportsInitiative. In this position, she is responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of all current programming. In addition to this role, she supports and manages teaching/learning, research, and fundraising endeavors within LiFEsports.  During the summer, she serves as the Assistant Director for the LiFEsportsSummer Camp. Becky joined the LiFEsports Initiative in 2008.  Outside of LiFEsports, Becky is an independent licensed social worker in the State of Ohio, serves as a field consultant for the National Summer Learning Association, and has coached middle school soccer in Grandview Heights City Schools for the past 11 years.


Stephen Moore

 

(B.S., Bowling Green State University, MSE., University of Toledo) is the Program Manager for the LiFEsportsInitiative.  In this position, he is responsible for the management and leadership of clinics and our Youth  Leadership Academy. Stephen joined the LiFEsports Initiative in 2017.

 

 


Catelen Ramsey


(M.S.W., The Ohio State University)is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio and is currently Program Coordinator of the Community and Youth Collaborative Institute (CAYCI) in the College of Social Work at The Ohio State University. Her role in CAYCI is to coordinate day to day operations and grants management projects focused on the planning, implementation and evaluation of school-family-community partnerships and positive youth development, school climate, health and social service related interventions to support vulnerable youth and their families. Additionally, she also helps supervise and instruct OSU students as they learn social work practices. In her time outside of the office, she is a mentor to LiFEsports Youth Leadership Academy high school students.

 


Sara Henderson

 

(B.S.W., M.S.W., The Ohio State University) is a Program Coordinator with CAYCI. Sara works with high school students and supervises two MSW students at Early College Academy. She also spends time working with the LiFEsports’ Youth Leadership Academy, summer camp and clinics. Sara initially became involved with the LiFEsportsInitiative as the dance coach, she fell in love with the program and has enjoyed being involved in different facets over the years and seeing it grow. Outside of LiFEsports, Sara is an independent licensed social worker with supervisor designation in the State of Ohio. Sara volunteers with Safe Families for Children and rides each year in Pelotonia.
